Dr. Russ Lehrman is the CEO of BioSuperior Technology, Inc., He received a B.Sc. in Chemistry from McGill University, and a Ph.D. in Pharmaceutical Chemistry from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. Dr. Lehrman has worked in Pharmaceutical Research and Development for over 30 years, including 5 years at Inhale Therapeutic Systems (now Nektar) where he established dry powder formulations for lung delivery of biotherapeutics. He has contributed to the development of a number of approved therapeutics including Tysabri, Macugen and Exubera. In addition his work contributed to high multiple exits for NeXstar, Inhale Therapeutics, and Upjohn. Dr. Lehrman has also co-founded SnapDNA, a biotech company that is developing rapid methods for identification of pathogens in agricultural products. He has served as an Adjunct Professor at the University of Kansas-School of Pharmacy and University of San Francisco, Department of Chemistry. In addition to his responsibilities to BioSuperior he is an Advisor to the Stanford University SPARK Program.
