Dr. Rebecca Miao is the scientific founder and Chief Scientific Officer at AKSO Biopharmaceutical, Inc. She has been instrumental in developing the company’s proprietary DEEP protein engineering platform. As the principal co-inventor, Dr. Miao leads the development of AKSO's therapeutic pipeline across autoimmune, fibrosis, and oncology fields, including securing recent FDA IND approval for one of the company’s oncology programs, AB002. Trained as a postdoctoral fellow and later as a faculty member at Stanford University, Dr. Miao brings over 15 years of experience in biotechnology research and development. Her expertise and leadership continue to advance AKSO’s mission to innovate and improve patient outcomes.
