Dr. Shoura is the CEO & CSO at Phinomics. A bioengineer with a decade of experience in DNA topology, biophysics, and genomics; her work on circular DNA helped usher in a new phase in circular-DNA-focused research and reestablished it as a field of study. As a postdoctoral fellow at Stanford University, she was awarded several fellowships to engineer unbiased, ultrasensitive tools for characterization of circular DNA. Currently, she is the Forbeck Scholar in oncogenic circular DNA amplification. Dr. Shoura has PhDs in Molecular Cell Biology (2013) and Biomedical Engineering (2015).
