Luca Giani - Co-founder, CEO - Ilios Therapeutics. Luca brings over a decade of experience in biotech entrepreneurship and investing. He began his career at Credit Suisse in M&A, and later worked at Bain & Company on go-to-market and corporate strategy projects. He has been an investor at 5Lion Ventures and has entrepreneurial experience through Varnum Sleep Solution (now Somnifix) and lnnbiotec Pharma, which he co-founded. Luca is a Blavatnik Fellow at Harvard Business School and a M-RCBG Fellow at Harvard Kennedy School. Prior to this he was a Fellow at the Harvard's Belfer Center for Science, where he focused on neurodegenerative diseases under Dr. Robert Langer's mentorship. He holds a B.S. (Magna cum Laude) from Georgetown University, and an MPP from the Harvard Kennedy School, and has studied Translational Pharmacology at Harvard Medical School and Healthcare Ventures at MIT Sloan. He is highly motivated to make a difference in this field due to a personal and family connection to neurodegenerative diseases.
