Lauren Tyra is the Chief Executive Officer of Gregor Diagnostics, leading the team through our quest to redefine prostate cancer care. She joined Gregor as an investor in 2018 and as CEO in 2024. Prior to Gregor, Lauren was the Chief Scientific Officer for a Texas-based, healthcare-focused venture capital firm, GPG Ventures. At GPG Ventures, Lauren participated in more than 60 of the firm’s healthcare and technology investments, with a special focus on therapeutics and diagnostics. She is a published scientific author and frequent public speaker. Lauren has BS in Biology and BA in German from the University of North Texas and a PhD from UT Southwestern in Neuroscience, where she was a National Science Foundation GRFP Fellow.
