Ivana got her Ph.D. in Bioengineering at UC-Berkeley/UCSF and was a postdoctoral scholar at the Gladstone Institutes in San Francisco. During her academic training, she worked in the labs of Todd McDevitt and Nobel laureate Shinya Yamanaka, studying signaling and germ cell development. Her work on signaling pathway activation in stem cells was published in Developmental Cell, and reviewed by Nature. She is the founder and CEO of Vitra Labs, working to build tools for modern, next-generation IVF to increase access to all patients. She was named to Forbes 30 Under 30 list in 2024.
