Hyunsun Jo is the Founder and CEO of Pin Therapeutics. He received his B.S and Ph.D. degrees in Biological Sciences from Seoul National University and performed post-doctoral research at Gladstone Institute at UCSF. Prior to joining biotech industry, he has worked in basic and applied research institute in life science over 14 years experiences. He started consulting activities for start-ups and small companies in biotech and healthcare sector more than four years in the bay area (global sales/marketing strategy, investment opportunity from US investor, distribution, and competitive strategies) and participated in several early-stage start-ups. He is the former co-founder and CEO of Labqna (web platform for the right experimental materials between researchers using database and machine learning technologies) and he also served as former founding partner for Embedbio (The early-stage Investment company to operate an innovative incubator platform for promoting the efficiency for research/idea/technology commercialization in biotech).
