Invenio is providing instant and highly accurate detection of cancer in tissue biopsies with laser imaging and artificial intelligence. Real-time tissue analysis impacts more than 13 million cancer patients every year. Existing techniques for on-site evaluation of biopsies are inconsistent, do not predict adequacy for biomarker testing and are underutilized. Our NIO Imaging System is FDA-registered, allows imaging of fresh tissue biopsies in the operating room in 2-3 minutes, has been purchased by 10 hospitals, 4 of which have now bought second systems, and used in 5000+ cases. We are initiating a study to obtain FDA clearance for the first AI algorithm detecting lung cancer in bronchoscopic biopsies.
